Flume’s New Release: Skin

Skin is the second studio album by electronic musician Flume. It was released on 27 May 2016, by Future Classic.

This latest drop from producer Harley Streten (aka Flume) is backed by a long list of notable artist collabs including Kai, Vic Mensa, Kučka, Tove Lo, Vince Staples, Allan Kingdom, Raekwon, Little Dragon, AlunaGeorge, MNDR and Beck.

The album is a journey sprinkled with progressive interludes reminiscent of the vibes from Flume‘s previous studio work. The new sounds in which the album projects are hypnotizing, and really push the envelope for what can be achieved within the electronic music genre.

Be sure to check out Flume‘s live performance, as he tours the globe promoting his new Skin work. Speaking from experience, Flume‘s Coachella 2016 act was off the hook. If you are merely listening to this album at home, definitely grab a ticket to the live show to soak up the real thing.
